Independent Printing was founded in 1945, in what is now the Commercial Street Historic District in Springfield, Missouri. Wally Hemingway purchased the business in 1971 with the philosophy that customer service is the top priority. In 1989, the company moved to the large, modern facility at 2325-C East Olive Court in Springfield. The company passed to the second generation with Wally’s retirement, as his son Jason Hemingway took over to lead the continuing growth and success of Independent Printing. Staff members average over 15 years of service with the company, carrying on Wally’s philosophy of superior customer service. Independent Printing will continue to pursue the sustainable technology and innovation necessary to provide our customers with the excellent service they deserve. The printing industry is changing rapidly, and these changes will enable us to serve you with top quality digital pre-press, printing, and bindery services.
